Our Story

As a freelance face painter, owner Michelle became frustrated at the cost of professional face and body paints in Australia. Knowing there had to be a better way, she reached out to some of her favourite overseas brands of face and body paint who then asked her to act as the Australian distributor. Michelle then created her own range of brushes and accessories for face painters to help the face and body painters of Australia access quality supplies at reasonable costs. At that stage, supplies were only available online, but it soon became clear that painters needed a store to be able to view paints in person. Thus, The Face Paint Shop was launched. Open 6 days a week, The Face Paint Shop has grown to become Australias largest supplier of quality face and body paint equipment due to the tireless efforts of husband and wife team Michelle and Paul.
